Reception & Ceremony Site
We offer a beautiful ballroom
setting suited for all social occasions, and will accommodate up to 500 guests.
St. Louis Marriott West, located in an exceptionally landscaped setting, will
be perfect for your ceremony and special photographs. The ceremony charge is
$750.00.
Food & Beverage
The menus listed on this website are only a general suggestion as to
the selection and variety of entrees and complements available to you. We take
great pride in developing new ideas and themes or simply expressing your taste
in a personally tailored menu. No food or beverage of any kind may be bought
into the hotel, banquet or meeting rooms by the patron or attendees from
outside sources with the exception of wedding cake.
Request for Multiple Entrees
If multiple entrees are requested the following
stipulations will apply:
- Normal
Guarantee procedure is required with indication for each entrée, with
exception that the guarantee is needed (5) five days in advance.
- Some
form of entrée indication by the host, i.e.: colored ticket, coded name
tag, etc. This will enable better service by our staffing during the meal
serving.
- If there
is a price discrepancy between the entrees, the higher price will prevail
for all entrees. .
Pricing
All food and beverage prices will be confirmed
90 days in advance of your function.
Room Minimums
Revenue minimums are set when holding ballroom space
for future events. Minimums are satisfied by all food and beverage charges, not
including audio visual, service charges or sales tax. Your catering
representative will provide minimums based on the date requested.
Guarantee
To ensure adequate food and beverage preparation, the
number of guests attending must be submitted to the hotel’s catering department
by noon, 3 business days
prior to the event. This number will be considered your guarantee not subject
to reduction. If no guarantee is received, the hotel will use the expected
number as the guarantee. The client will be charged for the actual number of guests served
or the guarantee, whichever is greater.
Billing, Deposits, and Cancellation Fees
Deposits, non-refundable, are required to hold space
for all social functions. ($500.00 for daytime events and $1000.00 for
evenings) Fifty (50%) percent of the estimated charges are required 30 days
prior to the event. Full payment is due 72 hours prior to the event.
Liability
The St. Louis
Marriott West reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions.
Liability for damage to the premises will be charged accordingly. The hotel
cannot assume responsibility for personal property and equipment brought onto
the premises.
Service Charges
All food, beverage and labor charges are subject to a
service charge plus applicable Missouri
Sales Tax. The obligatory service charge is not a gratuity and will be
distributed at the discretion of the management.
Guest Rooms
The bride and groom receive a complimentary deluxe
guest room for their wedding night when purchasing our special package. We
offer special discounted room rates for your wedding guests, based on
availability.
Parking
Complimentary parking is available on location in the
parking garage and in various parking lots on the hotel premises. Valet parking
can be arranged, please consult the catering office for information and
pricing.
Security
The St. Louis
Marriott West does not assume any responsibility for damage or loss of any
merchandise or articles brought into the hotel, or for any item that is left
unattended.
